    Default torsion bars and how to raise them on a mk1 paj

    any one have any info?
    i've orderd the lift for the rear and have been told that the front is easy just undo the locking nut on my torsion bars.

    now i had a gander underneath it and havent a notion where it is or what it looks like!

    easiest thing ever. if you follow the torsion bars back to the cross member you will see the head of the bolt,
    i think its 19mm, above there are 2 nuts, unlock the top lock nut and hold the spanner on the lower nut and screw
    the bolt into the nut.
    if you count the turns so the same on both sides, after drive the car back and forward a bit without braking hard, check
    the distance from the chassis to the ground to check its level. should take about 20 Min.

    Wont do you much good robx1 unless you get longer shocks to match, your just restricting travel otherwise

    vortec is right, no more articulation, in fact less as the bump stops control max up and down movement. only higher.

    Yeah,forgot they have a stop top and bottom, i guess a body lift would be the way to go,and might be cheaper ??

    if the lift is for 33"tyres both lifts is best, look at pt maras pajero.
